{"id":3030,"date":"2015-10-10T18:10:27","date_gmt":"2015-10-10T16:10:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gabbychallenge.glundh.se\/wordpress\/?p=3030"},"modified":"2015-10-10T18:10:27","modified_gmt":"2015-10-10T16:10:27","slug":"46-8k-trail-run","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gabbychallenge.glundh.se\/?p=3030","title":{"rendered":"46.8K Trail run"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>#3 &#8211; 50 runs in 100 days &#8211;\u00a0Hardcore edition<br \/>\n#110 &#8211; 100 Days Of Miles Challenge<\/p>\n<p>Today it was time for the last tough trail run before the race &#8221;D\u00f6dens Zon&#8221; (= The Death Zone) and also time for resting weeks.<\/p>\n<p>So up 5 am this morning and then take the train to Tj\u00f6rnarps train station.<\/p>\n<p>I was a bit worried, the temperature has dropped and it said 7oC (45F) and a bit windy, some rain around 8-9 so I put on the winter gear. So if I got tired legs when it was 20K left I was not surprised. Continued to run, when it was 15K left my legs felt like lead and then when it was 12K left they gave up \ud83d\ude42 So I just had to acdept the fact that it probably was very likely that there would be some more walking before I was done.<\/p>\n<p>It is hunting season so in front of me I saw a group of hunters and asked nicely to be able to pass them and they moved to the side, they might have been the friendly hunters \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>When I get tired I do not lift my feet and bounced into stones so my toes got hit and started to hurt which makes me grumpy \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gabbychallenge.glundh.se\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_3035_151010.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3036\" src=\"http:\/\/gabbychallenge.glundh.se\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_3035_151010-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3035_151010\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gabbychallenge.glundh.se\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_3037_151010.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3031\" src=\"http:\/\/gabbychallenge.glundh.se\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_3037_151010-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3037_151010\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At the end not even Red Bull helped much<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gabbychallenge.glundh.se\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_3040_151010.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3034\" src=\"http:\/\/gabbychallenge.glundh.se\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_3040_151010-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3040_151010\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gabbychallenge.glundh.se\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_3041_151010.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3033\" src=\"http:\/\/gabbychallenge.glundh.se\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_3041_151010-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3041_151010\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Today I saw a <span class=\"hps\">squirrel<\/span> and I think it was a venison\u00a0in the wood at the loop.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gabbychallenge.glundh.se\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_3042_151010.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3040\" src=\"http:\/\/gabbychallenge.glundh.se\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_3042_151010-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3042_151010\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When I got back to Tj\u00f6rnarp and it was almost 3K left I told my feet to get moving because I didn&#8217;t want to miss the train and wait another hour til the next one. Two ladies were out in the forest and picked mushrooms and their dog ran with me for a short moment \ud83d\ude42 and then I saw a couple walking their kitten \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>So when I was on the last straight trail part I told myself to lift my feet so I didn&#8217;t fall flat on my face and what happened of course I fell flat on my face and got leaves and dirt in my face \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>And finally I was done.<\/p>\n<p>Resting is very good.
