#16 – 50 runs in 100 days

72 day, 71 days to go

Today it was running barefoot, as warmup, at the judo mat before Newaza

Unfortunately my running does not help me in judo. There are not anybody in my way who try to get me down on the ground in a retention when I am out running. I do not have that type of resistance during my running.

#22 – Plank challenge

Today it was 210 very LONG seconds

When it was 2 minutes left I was wondering what I was doing.  When 1.5 minutes was left it was torture.

When it was 30 seconds left I had to focus and my legs started to shake but I have not put down my knees on the floor yet but do not know how long I can keep that up.

PAIN TORTURE

When it was 11 seconds left I just wanted it to be over and finally that magic beep. 🙂

#21 – Plank challenge

Today it was 210 very LONG seconds.

Even if I try not to look at the timer to soon I seem to look the first time after 30 seconds which happened today too.

3 minutes left

2.5 minutes left

Just 2 more minutes, focus Gabby.

1.5 minute left

Just 1 more minute, you can do it.

At 40 seconds left my legs were starting to shake really badly but I refuse to put my knees on the floor

at 20 seconds left, AAAHHHHHH. Hold on DON’T give up. Torture! PAIN!

Then finally the beep. 🙂

Today I had to move my legs around for them not shaking to soon for too long.

#15 – 50 runs in 100 days

74 day, 73 days to go

When I woke up this morning it was raining and it was grey outside. Not a very good start. I hoped that later it would be rain free.

Just got back from a evenin run with reflective vest and headlight on and even if it was fall temperature today I put my winter pants on as well.

Nice run in the dark. Still some ache after my challenges Friday and Saturday but it is getting better.

Temperature: 9oC (48F).

Average speed today: 6.06 min/k and time: 1.00.25 h

#20 – Plank challenge

Another very LONG 180 seconds.

What is it with these 30 seconds. Looked at the timer after 30 seconds.

Just 2 more minutes, focus Gabby.

At 1.30 min left my legs were starting to shake a bit

At 1 minute left, come on Gabby you can do it. Keep going

Only 30 seconds left

When only 10 seconds left my legs were shaking a lot. I still refuse to put down my knees on the floor. I wonder when I might have to give up and put down my knees. I get the feeling it is going to happen at some point.

#19 – Plank challenge

Today it was 180 very LONG seconds.

Looked at the timer after 30 seconds and then I realized soon after that that was 2 whole minutes left. At 1.42 left I had to focus. A 1 minute left I had to tell myself you can do it.

At 42 seconds left AAAHHHHHH.

At 30 seconds left, OH MAN!

At 20 seconds PAIN

At 12 seconds it fel like an eternity and the finally the beep!

#14 – 50 runs in 100 days

76 day, 75 days to go

I was suppose to run yesterday but after 2 days of challenging myself to run faster than normal I had to have a rest day yesterday.

Today it was definately colder so winter pants on, also windstopper over my fleece jacket. Forgot that it is darker already at 16.00 (4 pm) but lucky me it was not too dark when I ran on the counry road without any lights.

A lot of spitting, blowing my nose and coughing, a definately sign of winter.

Ran 10k.

Temperature: 2.5oC (36.5F)

Average speed today: 6.08 min/k and time: 1.00.52 h.

I need to drink some warm glögg to get warm again.

#18 – Plank challenge

Today it was the last session of 150 seconds.

Of course I had to look at the timer when it was 2 minutes left. And then when it was 1.5 minutes Focus. At 1 minute the legs started to shake but I stilll refuse to set the knees on the ground. At 30 seconds left I was asking myself why I am doing this. At 20 seconds left AAAHHHHHH with a bit of a roar. Oh yes only 10 seconds left and then finally I heard the beep.

#13 – 50 runs in 100 days

78 day, 77 days to go

Today I participated in 1h interval based treadmill session with the great instructor Suz.  The goal today was to challenge myself to run faster than normal. Started with  5min/k and then I was alternating between 5 min/k up to 4.44 min/k. Ran a total of 9.55 k.

This is at the very beginning of the session. We are running with a smile on our faces. The feeling is good, everything is cool. If the question was asked if we were fine, we answered yes, we could even say our name, our age and where we lived.

This is when we are getting closer to the end. The feeling is not so good anymore. Suz asked if we were feeling good and the answer have now changed from Yes to NO with a roar.

Of course we have to have the traditional group picture
