#10- 10 Day Push-Up Holiday Challenge

Last pushups today. Lisah wanted to know how many regular pushups we could do in 45s.

Went great in the beginning, at 14 it started to get tougher, wrists were complaining a bit and lower back was a little upset at the end.

Tried to get in a bit of a speed.

Result: 24 🙂

#9 – 10 Day Push-Up Holiday Challenge

Totally forgot to do these yesterday so double today.

Today it was a 45s pushup variation.

You did a regular pushup, brought your knee under you and then straight up and pushup, did this 5 times and then changed leg.

Man that were hard on my arms.

Suppose to be good for the core and I can actually feel it now.

Result; 5 on each leg.

#8 – 10 Day Push-Up Holiday Challenge

Yesterday was a rest day but since I skipped the challenge Saturday I did Saturday’s challenge yesterday and tonite it was back on track.

Tonite it was 30s grasshopper pushups 🙂

Oh boy, they were tough.

It did not hurt my back, no problem with my wrists just heavy pushups and probably not as graceful as Lisah’s

#4 – 10 Day Push-Up Holiday Challenge

Fourth day of this challenge.

Today we were going to see how many pushups we could do in 45s.

Tougher of course.

Noticed that I actually could go lower but it was killing my wrists.

I have damaged my wrists during judo practice doing too much wheelbarrow (rullebör), an exercise where you stand in a plank position and the other person lifts up your legs and your moving your hands across the room.

Results: 17

#3 – 10 Day Push-Up Holiday Challenge

Yesterday the pushup challenge was 45s with a push-up variation. You stood in the regular push up position and then put down your under arms on the floor, up and down.

A bit breatless today. Seems to me that we have to count everytime.

Felt a bit in my back today.

Yesterday the pushup challenge wass 45s with a push-up variation. Before each pushup you were ”walking” 3 steps.

It worked on my gluteus as well 🙂

This time I did not get any back pain, of course it was tougher because it was longer

#1 – 10 Day Push-Up Holiday Challenge

I decided to participate in the 10 Day Push-Up Holiday Challenge.

Everyday will be posted what challenge I need to do.

Yesterday I was suppose to start but my brain was confused, thought that I walked to the train at 4.30 pm but it actually was 5 pm and I have choir rehearsal at 6.45 pm. Did have less time home before the rehearsal and afterwards it was more focus to get in bed on time. Cannot catch a cold this week since I have a race Saturday.

So the first challenge was:

How many push-ups can I do in 30 seconds! Bonus points if you do it twice 🙂

So to be honest, I am not fast at doing pushups but I had to do at last 10 otherwise it would be embarrasing. Result: 13. A bit ache in my back.

Going to be interesting to see how my right elbow will respond to this challenge. Something happened at Dödens Zon beginning of November.
