#21 – 50 runs in 100 days – Keep Running edition

I have longed for new baked bread for breakfast and decided yesterday to bake a bread which ferments for 8 hours so I woke up and baked out the bread and during the fermenting I went out for an early short morning run.

The fog was on the grass which looked magical in a way.

Distance: 2.56K, time: 15.42.7 min, average heart rate: 133, average pace: 6.07 min/k, max pace: 5.25 min/k, cadence: 180, VO2 Max: 24 ml/kg/min

Nice to run a short run before breakfast and then eat newly baked bread with apricots and hazelnuts.

6.76K Flat Run

#1 – 50 runs in 100 days – Keep Running edition

Was suppose to run 3K yesterday and finish with some barefoot running but decided to take a rest day due to the distaster Thursday.

So this morning I ran 6.76K before breakfast and it felt so much better.

Temperature 18oC (64F).

Decided to bring my water belt even if it wasn’t very cold and I actually wet my hair a few times and drank some water during the run.

Distance: 6.76K, time: 41.23.5 min, average heart rate: 154, averagae pace: 6.07 min/k, max pace: 5.25 min/k, cadence: 180, VO2 Max: 37 ml/min/kg

#2 – Barefoot running

Then decided to finish with some barefoot running on sand for the first time, that was tough 🙂 but interesting.

Distance: 0.29K, cadence: 166, VO2 Max: 34 ml/min/kg

I decided to get up and run before breakfast.

Woke up around 7 pm and decided to wear my shorts, t-shirt and flipbelt.

Decided to run down the road and continue out in the country and the distance would be 4K. Saw two two roads directly into the fields that I had to turn into and back again.

Was a bit chilly but not too cold.

The French men drives really fast, even early in the morning. Even the campers on a narrow country road 🙂

When I got back to my French home I was not up to 4K so I continued around the corner 🙂
